Tipping is not a requirement. It’s a kind gesture to show appreciation for good service. Today, after my visit to the salon, I was told I should tip more because the technician spent more time on my nails than on my daughter’s. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any extra cash on me and I had to split the tip between both technicians.The technician at the front reacted with a look of clear disapproval, which made me very uncomfortable. Made an appointment first thing this morning for later in the day, arrived and was told they made the appointment for tomorrow and not today so I could either come back in a "couple hours" or go the following day. This is the 3rd time I've had an issue, even with an appointment. The first two times I was told to wait a pretty substantial amount of time past the appointment time made. I understand things come up, but if you aren't staffed to take multiple people and intend on taking walk ins, appointments shouldn't be made
