BEST SALON IN NEW YORK CITY – I actually pass by the salon every day for work and finally succumbed to my curiosity and got a haircut. My stylist Natalie was fantastic! She spoke with me about my interests and had me describe what I love and hate about my hair and gave me the best haircut I've ever had! Natalie does curls! – My fellow curly haired women know how frustrating getting a hair cut can be....most stylists don't know how to handle the shape of a curl, and thus chop it off. Best Salon in NYC – I have to say that this is one of the best salon's in New York City. It's not too big, it's not to small, it's not too trendy, and it's not too uptight. It's like a friendly hangout where you can go to relax, feel comfortable and feel a part of something. Look No Further! – I've been to the salon for a cut and color on two separate occassions and am officially an Liz Russell Salon devotee, forever. Natalie is a total sweetheart and nothing short of a genius with color - her highlights are a work of art. She won't make a move without talking to you at length, listens to your ideas and shares her opinion on what will be most appealing. GO TO ALLISON! – Allison gave the best haircut I've had in a long time! She listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. She explained to me what she was doing while she was doing it. The conversation was more than pleasant and my experience with her was unparalleled. She is highly recommended!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! – Serendipity brought me to Natalie's plush chair. For years, I have had limp, straight hair that every stylist cut the same way. No layers, angle from the chin down. When I came to Liz Russell , before anyone even washed my hair, Natalie and I discussed my lifestyle, how long I take to do my hair in the mornings, how I style it. So-so but great customer service! – I had my hair cut and colored by Natalie at the recommendation of fellow customers. Although it was a bit hectic in the salon and she seemed a bit overbooked I really liked her and felt comfortable with her. I was really happy with the way my color turned out and would definitely recommend her based on that experience.
