We just adopted our second dog from here and we are very happy! I like that they make sure you are a good match for the pet you want! Thank you ladies, Tommy is doing very well!
Compassion ! Dedication and love . The people who give of the time and selves for the sake of small creatures that we happen to adore . Rowe is a special place , with lots of TLC.
We adopted a dog from here a few weeks ago. Application process was easy. Fill out an app before you go. No reputable organization will adopt without prior approval, which takes a little time. Our meet and greet went great. They allowed us to spend time with a couple dogs. I did not feel rushed.
If I could give 0 star, I would do that. The animals are adorable but the staffs in charge of adoption are really rude. They turned away college students because they are in college and stereotyped them as "irresponsible." I would definitely not recommend this place. Do not go there if you don't want to get angry from their responses.

Livingston County Humane Society in Pontiac, IL requires each person who comes into our shelter to sign in. Your name is not on our sign in sheet, and we do not have an application on file in your name. We do not discriminate. If a college student meets all the application requirements they will be approved. There are two other shelters with the same name as we have but in other states. You gave your review to the wrong shelter. So sorry for your unfortunate experience.
