Chickens A great local resource. They have chick in the spring and support the backyard chicken owner with supplies and advice.
Nice local nursery Livingscape has a great selection of plants and garden supplies. They also sell some unique kitchen equipment.

They have all of the things you need to start some chicks, chicken supplies, great native plants and food plants. great organic selection. canning supplies, kitchen supplies, books and garden tools. great, great place!! go there soon!
Cozy, neighborhood nursery with exceptional people and a great selection, including some plants you can't find at the giant stores. This is one of those places you feel good about supporting.
I have been happy with services here typically, but today I’m sitting here at 10:25 (since 10:05) and they still aren’t open. The sign on the door & on the website all say 10-5 for today, Sunday. I’m here from outer NE. Very disappointing that the only place in north east/north portland that has decent chicken food has this type of service. Off to Naomi’s I go!
