I had an appointment to see an apartment I saw online. I did all the required identification processes and got the confirmation for the showing. As I got to the address there was another person on site trying to contact Living Room PM without luck, no one showed up to the appointment. I waited for my scheduled time and, when no one showed up again, called the offices which were not helpful at all and honestly rude, sighing and just apologising but there was nothing they could do. Absolute scam, stay away from this company. Charging a 1150$ placement fee for a tenant we found ourselves, offering discounts to tenants without our consent, charging almost 300$ for a battery change. Won’t send breakdowns of fees. Clearly a scam. Reported to the BBB and taking legal action.
Have been living in an LRP apt. For 8 years. Mostly without issue. But recently their maintenance and administrators have taken a nose dive in quality and apparently intelligence. Billing disputes are not privy to late fees according to oregon state law, which you should know if you run a rental company. This place is a serious red flag. Tried to schedule a showing for a house and they were pushy about needing a photo holding ID, full photo of front ID and barcode on back before we even met. Hell no. That’s one way to get scammed.
