So awesome! I'd never been scuba diving before, but Nate gave a great lesson before hand, so no troubles there :) So much fun, can't wait to do it again!!
This was my first diving experience and frankly, I was a little terrified. Our instructors were Erika and Austin. Their warm and friendly manner put us at ease right away. They made the skills seem easy, and were very patient in answering questions and encouraging me as a first timer. The first few minutes breathing underwater were weird, but Austin helped me through the skills and it was ultimately easier than I thought it would be. Nathan was amazing he is patient he helped my sister overcome her fears and we had an amazing experience. We will continue to recommend people to Living Ocan Scuba and book our returning trips.
My wife did a discovery dive with Nate at Hanauma Bay, I'm already certified and went along to kick around. He did a great job explaining skills and the reason for it. Then we got out and had a good time checking out the fish! I'll dive with them again!
How lucky was I to have an afternoon diving with an instructor to myself? Erica very cool & informative. We went on 2 great dives. 1st dive as soon as we hit the water 3 sea turtles came to say hello. Erica pointed out awesome sea life...a sleeping white tip reef shark under a ledge, crab, eels, etc. Best of all was watching a big spotted eagle ray. Felt very safe, equipment was good & the catamaran boat crew super friendly!! Go Living Ocean Scuba!! Looking forward to pix of the Ray on this page. Mahalo
My husband and I spent two weeks in Hawaii for our 30th anniversary. Some of our best dives were with Erika at Living Ocean Scuba. We only dove two days with her, as we had other family that are non-divers, and needed to allow time for other activities. Erika was fantastic.
