This Place is AMAZING!!!!!!! – My seven year old daughter LIVES at little shop. She has been doing crafts there for years....We have had several birthday parties and refered them to our friends for their own parties. Currently, I am arranging a "mom's evening" during one of their jewerly classes. True Customer Svc - Owner great! – The owner is amazing! I painted three plates 8/8 and told to pick them up 8/12. I called 8/12 and was told that they were short staffed couldn't empty the kiln. I was in NJ so I called 8/13 and told they were ready. I trekked into the city and when I got there they only 2 of the pieces were ready. The third piece had not made it into the kiln. get a group and go – If you're looking for reason to spend some quality time with friends in an unhurried and unique way. I highly reccomend that you pay a visit. Our host Sam was polite, sociable, helpful and funny. It was nice to have him around for the more creatively challenged of us who really could not know where to begin. There was a wide range of reasonably priced materials and accesories to choose from so having a project in mind first might be helpful. Bring cash for tipping, and handi wipes. Mango Maven does pottery! – The variety here is fantastic! You have your choice of painting pre-made pottery pieces (ranging from large platters to small bowls and pencil holders), plaster figurines, and wood and glass pieces. The shop is equipped with all the appropriate paints for the different types of items they have. They also have a few "extras" for the more creative types - puffy stickers, shells, and google-eyes to glue onto pieces. Pick it, paint it and come out... – with at least a conversation piece. After looking at a few choices, this place seemed the most appealing because it did not charge for painting time. Some places charge a "nominal fee" per half or whole hour, which can start to add up if you become as involved in your projects as we did. (Our actual paint time would have added another additional $40 to our pottery tab.)
