We have no issue with “members only.” We do have an issue with being the only family singled out while others stood in the same place. Whether intentional or not, it left my family feeling racially singled out. Reading another review describing a similar experience made that feeling even more real.
never coming again! decided to give them a try, their clientele was horrible! i refuse to share a club with the type of people that they allow in there. some lady came up to my family and i, swearing up a storm, obviously drunk out of her mind, and her friends followed! never have been called such horrible things
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! some lady came up at us and told us to get out, screaming at us and saying racist things to me and my spanish american family. never will come again!
I used to live on 93 Hazard Ave just down the street from this boat club. Oh how I miss all the times I took a little row boat from that dock in back and my net and bucket and went blue shell crabbing for my mom in the early 70s. She sure loved those crabs. I miss going crabbing and clamming here. Oh what good times I had here. I don't know if anyone knows the Spencer's but that is me. My maiden name. My mom passed away in 2021 because of that pandemic.
