The place is fantastic. They walk around and pass out samples of the meat. The only bad thing is the wait, but that means the food must be good. They also have a cooler with cold water while your waiting. I always get the jefe sandwich and add turkey slice to it. The jalapeño grits and beans make your mouth water with the flavors. I will continue to go back for more.
Good BBQ. Not worth the line or the cost. Good brisket but the sausage is better. Average ribs costing twice as much at $40+ than for a rack at a nearby award winning joint 3 miles away with much better flavor. Buy the sausage and shop around for everything else.

Most delicious BBQ in AZ! I got the lean brisket, jalepeño grits and potato salad and loved everything so much. The staff was absolutely incredible. They came out frequently to update us on what they still had in stock. They provided free water bottles and sunscreen for everyone to use. I have to say, this was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I have ever had. I will be going back very soon for some fatty brisket! Awesome experience from the time you pull in! Everyone is so friendly and they all were eager to assist us about the menu! Offered ice cold water while standing in line with the misters, keeping us cool! The line was long, but well worth the wait! The food was awesome!! Thanks for the great service!

I had just landed at the airport and opened up Yelp to find a place to eat. Being a BBQ lover, I just had to try someplace that had a 5-star rating. The line was long. I got there at 11:30 am and waited about an hour. However that wait was made much better with complimentary water and the occasional snack from the grill (sausage and brisket).
