There was indeed a very little joy at this place. Obnoxious security and the owner, poorly made cocktails and overall extremely disrespectful attitude towards guests. Not surprised of poor rating. There are much better places around it!
This used to be, hands-down, the best bar in the neighborhood. The cocktails are excellent, the pool table was free or cheap, the crowd was chill and friendly. And then The Renovation. Now, it pretends to be a nightclub. The music is at painful volume at all times, even afternoons with only a handful of people in the bar.
