The staff person helping us was thoughtful and quick. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious.

I've passed by the shop many times and always wondered if they have good food that meets my dietary needs (gluten and dair free). So often places have either subpar selections or meet one of my restrictions, but not the others. Pleasently surprised by all the options, and the clear labeling. I had an Egg Lady Egg Salad sandwich on the gluten free bread, as well as dilled beet salad. Loved both! The egg salad was eggy and delicious with a nice crunch. The bread was great! I will definetly be coming back.

So happy to see the Little General Food Shop in their new downtown location! We had their potato-leek soup for lunch, then picked up the fixin's for dinner tonight---a Pheasant & Rosemary pâté, their very own Pimento Cheese spread, crackers, grapes & apple slices and an Oregon Pinot Grigio. So, so good. I have looked for a good pate for years in Olympia & have finally found it. Yes!! Also got a slab of Pecorino cheese for my next arugula salad which I am looking forward to slicing into.
