I first saw Joel in 2017 for a general eye check. Even though I since moved a 45 min drive away I recently made a second appointment (yes, 9 yrs later) and sure enough they still had my info in their system. It was so great to be able to compare my lived experience with what he was noticing with his expertise and tools. He did a thorough exam and answered all my questions and never pushed for me to purchase from him. Extremely disappointed in the service, friendly doctor friendly staff absolutely disgustingly lackluster service. Started my experience with the dr 5 months ago trying to get scleral lenses. First appointment went well, took almost double the original estimate for the lenses to arrive. Waited 3 weeks after that for an appointment only to find out they weren't the correct prescription and needed to be sent back. New ones have been in for 3.5 weeks now, have called 3 times trying to get an appointment to get them with no call ... read more
