Highly recommended to all, especially for neurodivergent folks. I am autistic+ADHD and have always hated getting haircuts. Mychal is magic. I recently had hands down the best curly hair cut experience of my life with her. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail was so refreshing. She is clearly well experienced with curly hair and brings such calm and confidence it left me willing to try bold things (for me at least) in a shorter style. I've always had long curly hair that lived in a messy bun, several weeks on and i'm loving my curly bob that barely can be tied back. Thank you Mychal for setting my curls free! :)

I'm so happy I found Mychal at Dreamboat Curly Hair Studio. She understands curly hair better than anyone I've ever met, and provides an in-depth tutorial on your first appointment on how to properly care for curly hair! I have also never gotten so many compliments on my hair. She does amazing work, and is also so much fun to hang out with in the salon. She will treat you like her bestie and you will leave will an elevated sense of confidence, ready to show off your beauty to the rest of Victoria!

Mychal is really talented, passionate (but chill) and so sweet to boot! Would recommend for all the curly haired folks in Vic who are looking for really targeted and thoughtful support with their curls. She was so thoughtful with her recommendations and oh my goodness, her consultation is so in-depth. I felt so sure trusting her with a transformation hair cut. I’m originally from van and was worried I would have to commute back to van to get a proper curly hair haircut, but Mychal is a real pro! Thanks so much 🥹☺️

Mychal is quite simply, the best hair stylist ever!!! I have never had someone understand and make sense of my unruly head of hair in my life!
