Charged my insurance even though no service was rendered. I brought my 5 year old in after an irregular eye exam at his pediatrician. The optometrist spent less than 5 minutes with my son demanding him to tell him what he sees before telling us to come back in a year and try again after he's been socialized and isn't too shy to answer his questions. Been getting glasses for my 2 sons for a total of 4 years now, service has been great. I used to go to the Vision Center at Oceana but they lately changed and the staff from Oceana have moved here in Little Creek. Pro-tip: if you are able to get lenses at around fall, wait for their black friday sales. I got mine an additional 25%. But even without the sale, prices are still very competitive and if you use the Military Star card, you may be qualified for a payment plan without interest. My daughter was seen for her vision March 18:19, 2021 and I was told it would be “a while” before her glasses came back but I would be given a phone call. I’ve been trying to get in touch, but no avail. Today April 21, 2021 I was able to get hold of a worker and asked about the status of her glasses. I was told they’ve called me and left voicemails. I then asked her what phone number did they have on file. Neither of the phone numbers called out belonged to me. My daughter has been struggling with her eyesight for some time ... read more
