Really Disappointed – I've always enjoyed the cocktails at Little Branch. Yes, the blocks of ice are huge, but I appreciate how they're crafted by hand. What I didn't appreciate, however, was our obnoxious waiter. Who knows what his problem was, but all I know is that I'll never go back.
Best cocktails in NY! – Just tell them your favorite spirits, mixers, tastes and they'll mix you up a cocktail based on that - they get it right every time!!!!
Good mood – I have only been once so I can only give 4 stars, but I liked it a lot. Nicely hidden door, so it doesn't attract drunk loud people. Small place but they don't let it get overcrowded, therefore, better to go on a week night to avoid a long wait outside. Good date place, dim lights, quiet so you can talk comfortably. The drinks are amazing, nicely presented and delicious. The bartender was helpful and friendly. I have been meaning to go back for awhile now.
best cocktails in town – Definitely a must if you are from out of town...no comparison to Milk n Honey, Pegu Club, Angel's Share, these cocktails are worth every penny!!
Horrible Attitude and Customers Treated Very Badly – I've gone to Little Branch off and on for years, and unfortunately, have witnessed its dramatic decline. The change has been so drastic that rumors of it changing hands have been passed around. I've witnessed it change from a classy, underground, chilled-out lounge with custom drinks and great music... to a frat-row, Wall St populated, shadow of a mid-town bar rife with snobs (customers and staff alike). What happened? – The old doorman was half the allure of this bar. He was brilliant, but now there is some Dbag who just kind of stands there and brings little to the table.
Great Service and Atmosphere. – I stopped by Little Branch late on a Sunday. There was no doorman. We breezed right in and were sat immediately. There was a great 3 piece band playing, which was a nice surprise. The ambiance was lovely. It definitely felt like a hidden gem! Great Drinks, Trendy but Not Obnoxious, Relaxing Spot – Little Branch is one of those places that I'd never have tried if my friend didn't suggest it. The nearly unmarked on the corner of Leroy and 7th Ave door leads downstairs to a fairly small bar with only a handful of tables -- and sometimes it can take a while to procure one. Not so much ice please! – I went to Little Branch last night with two friends. We got there early (around 8pm) and easily got a table, which was great - as two hours later, there was a long line outside the door and only standing room at the bar. The atmosphere of the bar is okay, but the decor and low ceiling gives an extremely cramped feeling.
