Earlier this week I had taken in 30 articles of fall/winter clothing. They barely took anything and stated that they would not take any Justice clothing over size 10. But when I was looking on the racks there were size 12 clothing from the same brand... also when they say they only buy name brands and you see off brands hanging up and clothing with stains on them.. doesnt make sense. Maybe you should look thru the clothing a lot better. Was not happy when I went there and will not return.
This place used to be my favorite, but it has been going downhill for a while and i think it’s hit rock bottom at this point. There isn’t even nice clothing on the racks anymore. It’s all carters or comparable. I did manage to find one pair of play shoes for my daughter though. Didn’t end up buying them though, because SOMEHOW it took the cashier 20+ mins to check out the one person in front of me that had three items... i gave up at left at the 20 min mark.
My mom walked in here yesterday with atleast 50 articles of my sons clothing to consign. Out of the 50 things, they took FOUR THINGS. Two of which were brand new! You know how much she walked away with... $12. And they are extremely picky with what they accept. Your clothes basically have to be worn by Jesus in order for them to accept it. Also, half of the stuff on your racks are wrinkled! Will be taking our business elsewhere!
I saw some things online that I wanted to purchase and called to have them held. I just wish they could’ve held something a little longer since I live farther away and couldn’t make it that same day. I had to pay over the phone in order to hold longer which I wish I could’ve seen items prior. Thankfully I had family close by and they could get it for me! Staff was very pleasant on phone and were very pleasant and helpful to my mom who picked the items up.
This is the best children’s consignment shop in LANCASTER!!!
