First visit was great. Second visit disappointing. Ordered same level of spice both times. No spice on second visit. Waitress offered to add spice after meal was cooked.??? When I asked for a little crushed peanuts sprinkled to add some flavor, was told that would be $2.80 extra. But chicken and vegs were fresh.
This is the "go to" Thai restaurant in Plymouth. Unpretentious place with excellent food.
Great food and service – Food is the best from all other Thai places in the area.... Awesome curry noodle and Pad SEE EW Been going for 11 years....
Curry noodle is excellent! – My boyfriend and I eat here whenever we get the chance. At lunchtime, you get the soup of the day if you eat in. We always order the curry noodle and shrimp kow pad. They are both excellent!
Terrible Pad-Thai – The pad-thai here was the worst I ever tasted (and I've had a lot of thai food). It was watered down, soupy, flavorless. Additionally, they were scimpy on the scallops and shrimps. I love Thai food and this restaraunt had decent pad see-ew, but not great. I them to spice it up a bit and it seemed like they were afraid to spice it up. I hated that they served my thai-tea out of a red cafeteria type plastic cup. Good Food, No bells and whistles – Although the restaurant is located a bit off the main street and is a bit small, the food here is one of the best. The Satay is worth ordering every time and the curry rice is especially nice. Be cautious while ordering though - hot here is REALLY HOT.
