Little Amazon Although people may complain of the lack of cleanliness of the store, the selection of reptiles is amazing. He doesn't constantly handle animals that dont need constant handling resulting in independent, hardy reptiles. The owner is a little stern, but he knows his stuff and he is always open to questions. Little Amazon is the only store around that has live pinky mice for baby snakes and subadult reptiles, and regular customers are always greeted with a warm smile. Owner This is the only FAMILY owned pet shop around that I know of. I have been going there for years now and honestly have had no issues I agree the place is messy and seems unkempt it is still a place to support the family owned shop and not the huge chain stores that have issues of their own.
The to go fish shop Love this store. It is a family owned business so it isn't kept clean to tip top condition but it is decent. They have a decent selection on tropical fish and have a few marine tanks in the back. They have nice staff (Huey his wife and his son). Been open for years so they know what they are talking about. Not a chain so they are willing to cut you a deal and help you take care of your fish. They even have a cleaning service where they come to service your fish tank! Little Amazon Fish & Pet is bad I went to this shop because as a part of a biology assignment, we were supposed to buy a snail and fish to build ecology homes. The mainstream pet stores didn't sell snails, so I went here. When I walked in it was very humid, everything was cramped, and the smell was sickening. The poor fish had no space to swim because their tanks were filled so much. As I was paying for the snail, I noticed a sign that said "PUPPIES ON SALE!" Little Amazon Fish & Pet is Good I like this store, i was a little uneasy as i walked in thinking some weird people would be owning it but better yet it was my Vietnamese people (im Vietnamese) and the guy and his wife are very friendly a lot better than petsmart people and it is a little scruffy like a little dirty on the floor but then again it is only kept in tact by like 3 people..and i was able to bargain with them due to me speaking Vietnamese, and they have decent prices like nothing was really over priced or anything... read more
Worst Petstore in Seattle The pet store is way to expensive. It is ridiculous. I think he is swindler. You are right. It is not clean store. Fish and prices are just way to high. He try to sell me a goldfish. He told me it was a koi.
Crappy boss Used to work here, farkin sucked. I watched owner eat a burger that he left layin round and cockroachedscattered from in/under it wen he picked it up. Crazy dude. He seemed cool, never paid me enough and wouldn't let me clean like I wanted. I tryed but no dice. Reason for no pics is cos he thinks you'd sell the fish on craigslist or something. Like that would be bad, he could sell a fish that way at least. Horrible wife, bratty kids and they asked way too much. Worst job ever.
Rip Off, Rude Owner Visiting Seattle from San Diego. We have tons of NICE Fish keeping stores down here. This was one of 2 that I visited while in Seattle. He has some monsters for sale and pretty nice Discus. But WHAT A RIP OFF! $800 for a FlowerHorn?!?! Is he smoking crack? To give you an idea, Flowerhorns down here go for more like $40. It was a Diamond Blue FH and a bland one at that. His Arowana are way overpriced as well. I just bought a 11" Silver down in San Diego for $40.
