This is the best venue for a wedding!! The grounds are so beautiful and made for excellent photos for my daughter's wedding recently. The food was delicious and we had many choices! The catering manager Cassandra is so easy to work with and made sure we had everything we could possibly want/need. She was accommodating, friendly, and attentive, as was her staff. We had so hoped to love this place. We booked the only room with a double bathtub specifically because we wanted a tub that would completely submerge us both. The first night it worked great! However, that particular room is housed right above the water heater for the resort and came with a very loud hum that we were not told of beforehand. Additionally, the pipes drained incredibly loudly for over an hour; gurgling and suction noises kept us from sleeping. I was visiting Ashland during a very difficult time. And the staff is truly amazing. They made sure my stay was as comfortable and as easy as it could be. They were kind and very helpful. This will always be my destination, whenever I am in their lovely town. The place is so beautiful and peaceful and the rooms top notch. Whenever you are in Ashland, treat yourself to an amazing stay.

Having been visiting for 15 years it has changed. Good news is the 4 complementary EV chargers. Sad news is that it has lost the charm and hospitality feel that made it special. And why irritate everyone with a $5 charge for breakfast? I will probably go back but with less enthusiasm and be greeted by less enthusiasm by the staff. Sad, but true.
