Shadey sales tactics. They advertise cars with a good price to get you in the door, and then jack up the price with fees and unnecessary add-ons. I drove an hour out of my way to look at a car advertised for $9,500. When it came time to talk about the price the salesman came back with an out the door price of over $17,000. After refusing the price, i was left to wait for the salesman to come back with a price over $13,000.
Drove all the way to Fresno from Salinas on Monday after calling they day before on Sunday to make the appointment to see the truck and after calling them on Monday morning again to double check it was still there. Only for them to tell me when I got there that the truck was not there and the person I had been talking to knew nothing about their inventory on the lot. They then proceeded to try and sell me a completely different car they knew was out of my budget. What a Scam of a joke.
I worked with the sales man which was great. Once I wanted to sign papers and do the financing it took me almost 2 hours to talk to their finance guy. Once I was there they required me to buy something called "permaplate" for $1500. I told them I didnt want any paint protection and I was told that if I reject this optional add on then we cant continue with the sale. I was forced to buy an add on that I didnt want.
