Took dad from nursing home to American Family Dental Care this winter. Easy parking, lot clean of snow, wheel chair ramp, elevator. Dad was in alot of pain. Doc Lumsden did the exam and xrays, from health history knew dad could not have the infected tooth extracted unless by an oral surgeon. She called the surgeon and got him on the phone, and wheeled him over to his office so tooth was pulled right then. Dr. Lumsden took about 40 minutes of her time...and never charged us a penny. I call and compare prices every few years. This office has always been really really reasonable. I have never been kept waiting. I feel relaxed in the massage chair with the spa music and candles. I have only had a few crowns and fillings done over the years. But they are still holding up well. The office is clean and organized. The instruments are autoclaved and wrapped. No one likes going to the dentist. But I like this dentist.

You won't believe this dentist. Get seen on time, get gentle touch, massage chair, intra oral camera, almost painless injections, and do it evenings or Sat. She has accepted all of my insurances over the years, and her staff sends in the forms for me. She gives me alternative treatments, teaches me how to save my teeth AND save money. She has this Care Credit, so if money is tight for you but you have to have a teeth fixed...you can easily do it. This dentist is Awesome. I am a no pain freak and she does NOT use ultrasonic for cleaning unless necessary. The old fashioned painless method is great and still works fine. She also takes dental insurance which many dentists do not. Another reason I won't wait 5 years again. Another plus.. SHE does the Hygienist work herself!

Clean, pleasant facilities, stress free.Crown she did looks ok; it did fall off several times, but last time the right type of cement was used, so it is ok. Had insurance when it was done, and had no problems with billing.The front desk person who used to work there but quit was pleasant, more so than the new one.

I had to find a new dentist because I switched insurance companies and I put it off for months. When I finally made an appointment I was nervous and was hoping for a positive experience. The staff was nice from the start and Dr. Lumsden was extremely polite and friendly. She has a massaging dental chair and very up to date and modern equipment.
