After being nervous about my teeth and avoiding for the dentist I found Dr. Aten at another practice. When he moved over to Liscio Dental I went with him and it's been a fantastic experience. Heidi the Hygienist is warm and gentle and Dr. Aten is fantastic and makes you feel at ease. Will never go anywhere else now!

Though I rated my experience with Liscio Dental as Excellent, I could have also have rated it as Poor, but I need to explain why. Growing up I received a very poor quality of dental health education, which has persisted into my elder years. I realize that this is largely a reflection of living in a culture shaped by the early American idea of a meritocracy, in which an elite class of professionals were assigned the role and responsibility of solving "the people's" problems for them.
