There are truly no words that can fully express the gratitude our family has for the incredible team at Lisaard House. My mom passed away and during one of the most heartbreaking times of our lives, the nurses, social worker, and volunteers surrounded us with such extraordinary kindness, compassion, and dignity. The nurses, PSW’s and volunteers are so great here. They were caring, supportive and so accommodating. Never did they make us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. They treated my uncle and the rest of our family with the upmost respect which made our darkest days much brighter.
I want to thank everyone I encountered at the Lisaard house from the last few days. They are all so warming and welcoming. They are all so helpful and accommodating. If you are able to donate food, supplies, and/or your time I recommend supporting them. This is such a lovely environment. They do the most for the families that pass through here. I can't express enough how much I appreciate them all.
My grandfather in-law spent his last moments here. He was waiting for a bed for a bit and I was so relieved when I got the call that a room had opened up. After spending so much time in the hospital I knew this setting would be so much better.
