I waited a long time to post this review, but felt it was necessary share for people considering Dr. Steffensen as a PCP. I was a patient of Dr. Steffensen’s for about 2 years (2015-2017) before finally switching. Anytime I’d go in for an appointment she’d completely overlook the issue and tell me to lose weight. She’s been my doctor for over a year now and I really just don’t like her. It very much feels like she just wants to bill my insurance, ya know? So many follow up appointments that I don’t think are necessary. And she seems to be in a rush to finish my appointment, I’ve tried to bring up a new topic at the end of an appointment and she is like already trying to walk out the door and says we can monitor it. Just overall not impressed.

Dr. Steffensen has been my general doctor for several years now and I find her empathetic and thorough. She always takes care to listen to my concerns and has gone out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with the results of her care.
