Some stated, "She was unhelpful, forceful, and condescending." I couldn't agree more. I'd like to know who the new gynocologist is that you chose.
She was amazing, very professional, personable, explained all issues very well. I highly recommend her!
New patient appointments were being scheduled 6-months out when I called in August (2018). The person on the phone who took my info was very abrupt then, but I overlooked that to see a good Dr. When I called to cancel, because I found a Dr. who could see me more promptly, I was shocked by the rude treatment I received from the phone receptionist when she couldn't find me in their system due to an input error on their part. The client experience begins, or ends, with the front office.
I like Dr. Geer-yan, I believe she's completely concerned for the health of her patients. Her office is pleasant and although you may wait some past your appt. time, it's never too long. However, I disagree with her that every woman requires yearly paps. The American Cancer Society, several medical colleges & experts indicate that depending on your medical history & age, you may only need one every 2-3 years. I don't appreciate a lecture on being wrong about my choice. Lets agree to disagree.
She was unhelpful, forceful, and condescending. The appointment only lasted ten minutes. I have now found a different gynecologist.
This was the most positive experience I have ever had with a doctor and her staff. Dr. Geer-Yan and her nurse, Bridget, both took plenty of time with me, asked lots of questions and actually helped sort through the battery of tests I've had recently to understand what might be the root cause of my problems. The front office staff graciously helped me with an appointment when I had very few options. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Geer-Yan and her entire staff. Outstanding.
Follow up. Coffee didn't wake me up yet. Sure glad my car knows how to get here!
