To get Drs clearance for hip surgery. Required by Orthopedic surgeon due to my age. Discussed how I am feeling and whether I’ve had any heart related symptoms. Dr has recommended nuclear stress test and an echo cardio gram.
Excellent visit she was very attune to my concerns and very helpful answering my questions.
As a new patient and new to cardiology, I was greatly impressed with her. She spent a significant amount of time with me, was easy to talk with, and she listened very actively, picking up on small things I said. I am very happy to have been referred to her and highly recommend her.

Dr. Castellano has all the qualities one would hope to find in a doctor. She is caring, intelligent, and diligent. I met Dr. Castellano while hospitalized for a major 12.5 hr spinal surgery. Two days after surgery I developed A-Fib and she was the cardiologist on call for the hospital. She has a calm and caring bedside manner. On the second visit she encouraged me to get up and walked with me dragging various and assorted poles and tubes. She promptly visited me every day at six in the morning. I have been a patient for three years now. Excellent!!!
