One awesome benefit - for me - is that when they put in turf, they put in drainage! And I happen to be a mom whose retail therapy involved buying my kids an inflatable water slide. I also have a bounce house. And when I had grass, it was a huge pain to have to pick up the inflatable toys and move them so that the grass didn't die underneath; or so that bugs from the grass wouldn't get into it; or for the gardener to come every week.
