Incompetent, no compassion, rushed me out of the office and doesn’t listen to what i have to say about my medical issue in the initial consultation! I’ve never experienced such ineptitude. Went in with a very small and shallow epidermoid cyst on my forehead wanting to have it removed as it had been growing for months. My father died of skin cancer 25 years ago, so with a family history of cancer i wanted to get it checked out and biopsied, which any Dermatologist could easily done in office. I went to Rutgers Dermatology to have some moles on my face examined. Vesselia Kaforoff tried to examine me from across the room. Maybe this was due to concern over Covid, but we were both wearing masks. I didn't feel comfortable that a proper exam was done and had to make a second appointment with another doctor there. I would not recommend Vesselia Kaforoff to anyone needing a proper exam.
After spending a few days working for Dr. Hutman, I have full confidence on him as a Dr who truly cares about people. I would not think twice about making him a number one choice if I or my family needed a Dermatologist.
After going there for 15 years I will not return.I was late to my appointment by 16 minutes so they cancelled my appointment .Almost every time I go I need to wait for them for at least 15 minutes.I guess they only value their time!
Worst Office ever. DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME. My daughter has been suffering for months with acne and has gone through cycle of BS after cycle of BS with this office. They keep dropping the ball with her meds, she goes back and forth for blood work and then pregnancy test, then blood work etc. The Dr. forgets to fill the scripts and we start all over again. Not to mention the rude staff. Unforgivable and incompetent.
We live in Lindenhurst but still drive to see him. He’s great. He’s a kind, funny, knowledgeable guy.
Disgusted that you could turn a patient away in tears without the medical attention they were desperately seeking. After waiting 8 weeks for an appointment, it was too much for the staff to wait 3 minutes so I could call to get confirmation of the referral that was sent weeks before the appointment date. The staff needs lessons in professionalism and empathy. Horrendous experience.
From the moment I walked in the door, I was welcomed by friendly staff. The practitioners were extremely thorough and willing to answer any questions while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
Dr. Hochman is truly wonderful! I have seen her many times, for several medical issues over 7 years. She is warm, patient, attentive, reassuring and clarifies any concerns I may have. I never feel rushed, even if I have a lot of questions. The nursing staff are professional and the front office staff are friendly, upbeat, & very helpful in scheduling. The office is always clean and bright. Even if I’m going in for something that’s not-so-pleasant seeing Dr. Hochman is always a good experience!
