I feel fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Lisa Cotter by my primary physician. I agreed to having a UW student majoring in dermatology participate in the consultation. They listened to my concerns and evaluated the problem. Dr Cotter treated the skin during the the same visit& provided clear directions for any needed follow-up. I'm impressed with the positive tone of the visit.
I was disappointed in this visit. I came in for a skin check for skin cancer. The dermatologist did not do a skin check. She focused on treating my psoriasis which she claimed would make it easier for her to do a skin check in the future. It seemed to me that she was more interested in her needs than mine. I think I would like a second opinion.
