She seemed good for the first few years I went to her, but, ultimately, her lack of perimenopause symptoms and hormone replacement knowledge, as well as any interest in keeping up with new research in general, is why I left. Because of her lack of perimenopause understanding, she put me on birth control and then an IUD, until my symptoms got so bad she performed a potentially dangerous medical procedure. Dr. Chodak conducted my wellness checks and monitored my health throughout my pregnancy from February 27th through October 22nd. As it was my first pregnancy, I had many questions and desires to discuss with her. Dr. Chodak listened closely and with care to everything I brought up. I cannot express how compassionate and professional Dr. Chodak and her whole staff is. Dr. Chodak is and always has been a wonderful doctor. She goes above and beyond to make sure that her patients are well taken care of. I was very lucky to have her deliver my son. She has also been my Dr. through a couple Miscarriages and a D&C along with complete superior OBGYN care for me for over 9 years. I cannot imagine trusting anyone else with my health and hope I never have to.
I would highly recommend Dr. Chodak. I have had one miscarriage, one birth, and am currently pregnant again with Dr. Chodak as my physician. Through all of these experiences, Dr. Chodak and her staff have been supportive and professional. Their loving care and understanding helped me get through my miscarriage. In my following pregnancies, they answered ALL my questions, concerns, and fears in a timely and reassuring manner. With Dr. Chodak and her staff, I am not a number, I am family.
Dr. Chodak is caring, kind, and intelligent. She was the doctor on call for delivery of my first baby and I have since switched to become her regular patient for my own care as well as the delivery of my second and now third child. Her nurse Dawn is also amazing and they make a great team.
