Dr. Barisciano was pleasant, spent a lot of time with me and seemed to know her stuff. I would highly recommend her based on this one visit. The only downside is she is booked well in advance. It took a while to get an appointment.
As an out of state allergist, when my niece (who lived in NJ) developed a severe food allergy. I recommended that she see Dr. Barisciano. I knew of her excellent clinical knowledge and great bedside manner. She is in high demand but worth waiting to see as she spends the time needed and provides excellent personalized care. There are many mega allergy practices that open 7days a week and with 10 hr days but a factory was not what my niece needed, Dr. Barisicano was. Many thanks!
Very thorough and spends a lot of time with each patient. But I can no longer deal with her ridiculous schedule. Literally closed for half of the summer. Can't even talk to anyone on the phone or send an email. Online scheduling only and you can't get in for more than a month. Unacceptable. I couldn't even communicate with anyone to get my records faxed to a new doctor! Normal hours also few and far between. Why be a doctor if you don't want to work.
Dr. Barisciano is an excellent doctor. She spends the necessary time with you, is very thorough and has a wonderful personality. She explains things and is very precise with her treatment plan and testing. I had my children go to two different Drs. for several years because of her working hours, but returned back to her as the other doctors couldn't compare to her. Though her hours are not the most convenient for those who work, I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I found Dr. B to have an excellent bedside manner, thorough in her identification of issues involved, great explanation of treatment plan, and open to alternatives. She's truly a great doctor.
