I just had my first appointment with Dr. Matt & Nancy and I couldn't be happier with the service! My 6 year old black lab gets extremely anxious when he has to go to the vet's office and he was so at ease getting seen in his own home. My dog has a tumor that came up abruptly. They covered all areas including doing a full blood count, taking a sample, a full exam, and even clipped his nails (which he normally hates lol) I will definitely be using them again!
We met Dr. Hecht and her assistant Bex under sad circumstances — they came to our home to help our Beauregard to the Rainbow Bridge. But they were extraordinarily compassionate, gentle, and warm with us and our sweet hound. From scheduling the appointment via the online chat feature to the hugs and warm words at the end of the visit, HousePaws made a difficult situation as easy as possible for us, and for that we are so very grateful. 🌈 Thank you, HousePaws ❤️
Today I had to put my 14 yr old Bassett hound (Barney) down. It was a hard decision but from the person who took my call to the vet and tech that came to my house I was impressed. The compassion, empathy and professionalism was on point. I was able to sit with Barney on our family back porch and lay with him until the end. The experience, though sad, allowed me to be at peace with our decision.
