Used RL some years ago to negotiate divorce. What I agreed to then, I am now finding out, is not to be and the huge amount of money I spent to fund the settlement is now gone.

Used RL some 20 years ago to negotiate divorce. What I agreed to then, I am now finding out, is not to be and the huge amount of money I spent to fund the settlement is now gone. Additionally, the remaining money will also likely be gone soon too - leaving me on the hook for indefinite alimony to my X and nothing for our children as "planned". Also, RL allowed the annuities to be set up by someone with no financial experience and the payment to my X increase over time leaving me and my estate on the hook for even more.
