Toxic work culture and the owners want to believe they're wonderful so they don't do anything about nasty upper and mid managers
It wasn't the worst place to work but it wasn't the best. The pay was ok at the time before covid. Management was good, the company policies were terrible. Coworkers always looked unhappy, and down unless there was an event going on. The paint department I worked in was the worst part, problematic from the start. A couple of guys there really ruined the whole experience there, they were some of the most toxic people I have ever worked with in my life.
LINK Engineering, otherwise is a fairly reputable company overall but their International Sales Director at the time, Yan Tran, is one of the most hypercritical characters I encountered in the last ten years. She is pretty good at misinterpreting a doomed project for a quick sale and she tends to exploit her employees for personal gains. Endless overtime at certain time and it's bending the law. Remember this person for as long as you should, be aware and don't be like her. ( and it shouldn't be a high bar after all )
