Dr. Ackerman is very professional, personable and thorough. I have found her explanations very helpful and she has a good sense of humor!
I could not give a higher recommendation than I give to Dr Ackerman. I was misdiagnosed with a skin rash for many years. The first time I saw Dr Ackerman she correctly diagnosed the rash as a type of cancer. It was a relief to finally find out what the problem was and what to do to begin therapy. She has followed my treatment over the years with helpful, compassionate care. She is outstanding!
Dr Ackerman saw my wife and I on the recommendation of my cardiologist. I am a Vietnam Veteran who commanded a gunship platoon in the 101st Airborne in the 3 Northern Provinces of Vietnam in 1968 and 1969. I was in one of the highest exposure level areas for Agent Orange in Vietnam. Even though I am on the Agent Orange Registry... Phoenix-VA has ignored my dermatological condition. Dr. Ackerman treatment plan is correcting a long ignored problem by Phoenix-VA. She is a true professional.
Dr. Ackerman is a wonderful dermatologist. She is thorough and sincerely cares about her patients. You are not a number. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a quality doctor of the skin.
I found Dr. Akerman to be very thorough yet efficient, addressing all my concerns and treating several skin lesions and a biopsy with only one visit. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a dermatologist.
She was very kind and compassionate.
I was recommended to Dr. Ackerman by a co-worker as I have an infection and very painful. I called and without any compassion or care at all was told the first available appointment for any of their doctors was over a month away! I explained I was recommended and would see any doctor, the receptionist did not care at all. So much for care and compassion.
Dr. Ackerman is very thorough. The waitlist to see her as a new patient was quite long, but is definitely worth it. When she came in the room, she did an exam and addressed all of my concerns. She was knowledgeable, friendly and personable through the entire appointment. Having several doctors and medical professionals in my family, all of them rave about Dr. Ackerman. I now understand why; she is, by far, the best dermatologist that I have seen.
Dr. Lindsay Ackerman has an attitude towards her patients, is not listening, disrespectful, talks down on her patients and does not admit her own mistakes.
