Excellent care. Very complete explanation of every step in the treatment of my basal cell cancer. I felt very much at ease throughout the process.
The staff is professional and friendly. Dr Ackerman is thorough, knowledgeable and takes the necessary time to explain and discuss my issues and treatment. The patient is treated respectfully in a positive and supportive environment . Many procedures are completed in the office. Seeing Dr Ackerman is always s positive experience.
Dr. Ackerman is the fourth dermatologist I have seen in my adult life. She is the very best of the group. She has an engaging personality with patients. She is also very thorough and takes the time to explain what she sees on my skin, how to treat it and recommends appropriate follow up.
I have been seeing Dr. Ackerman for many years now for a variety of pretty unusual skin issues. She is amazing and I trust her completely. She is so smart and so knowledgeable, and personable, too! She takes all the time with you that you need. I don't know how she does that because she is usually pretty on time for appointments, and if she isn't, she is always apologetic. Her office staff is wonderful, too. I drive a long way to see her because I wouldn't go anywhere else.
