The business practice is very bad. The sales pressure me to go in against the Maryland Governor's Stay Home order, when I told him I won't go in and rather do all the necessary negotiation and paperwork via email. I was promised a price on a Fusion SEL and wanted an written offer, one sales by the name of Boye promised and said the manager will send a written offer via email. Salesman Justin was great (although he spent all his time with me, approximately 6.5 hours or more - the sale went to someone else). My issue was the finance manager Bruno and sales manager Jeffrey. They scammed me to the max. I was told I HAD TO purchase a warranty and was never shown the full amount of the vehicle I was purchasing until the time I was to sign all documents (via ipad). After receiving a recall letter notice from Ford on our Ford Fusion and later an offer letter to get to the dealer for a rental car while waiting on parts for the free fix, I called different times this dealer where I have done all maintenance to the car since bought, but never got an answer, they kept transferring me to a person who never answered or to automatic answer machines. Bait and switch
On January 16, 2018 I came into Lindsay Ford dealership looking to purchase a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for my husband. I had a pre-approved Transportation Federal Credit Union car loan with an interest rate of 1.99% so, it is beyond comprehension as to why my car buying experience turned into more than a 5 hours ordeal. I have had service work here ever since I got my car from Lindsay in 2007. Never had a complaint or a bad experience and they have kept my car in good condition. Will likely get my next car there once I am ready for an upgrade.
My family and I have purchased multiple vehicles from Lindsay Ford of Wheaton, and we could not be happier with the service that we received. Each time we have purchased a vehicle, the staff has been knowledgeable, courteous, and genuine. Although we have been fortunate enough to not require much warranty service, our few experiences with the service department have also been very pleasant.
