Our party of 4 enjoyed a special dinner on 30 January 2016! 3 of us ordered the steaks and 1 ordered seafood with white wine. Pam our waitress having 40 years experience (Wow!) had us laughing as we enjoyed our sumptuous feast! I love the "cabin-like" ambience (casual) of the place as I grew up having spent summers at a lake cabin! Many of my friends who live in other states come to Lindey's for steak when they return to MN for a visit! Quality is first rate! I will return to feast again soon!
This is by far a beef eaters dreams. Yea you might have to wait but it is well worth it. They are so accommodating and we love the family style.
If you like a bottom sirloin roast that has no flavor, (unless you salt and pepper the heck out of it), this is the place for you. Bread was a joke. Hot dog buns cut in 2" lengths and toasted with a little garlic sprinkle. Potatoes were flavorless for fried hash browns, and dry. Pickled watermelon rinds are o k. Mushrooms were pretty decent and the beer was cold. Hadn't been there for 20 years and haven't missed a thing.
Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced at any restaurant! I was told 20-25 minutes and waited over an hour before getting seated, I watched the owner put walk in's in front of the people waiting! After we got seated we sat for about 20 minutes and never even got acknowledged! We chose to leave after sitting for almost 2 hours, they have the worst management I have ever experienced, I will never recommend them to anyone!!!
