Classic midwest steak house. Great food, great service!

I prefer a grilled steak. I think this was pan seared and then baked. Potatoes were way over seasoned. Wilted lettuce in the salad. For me, it was just ok.
Our first visit. Lindey's gives one the true feeling of a real supper club. Steaks cooked perfectly. Toasted bread was delicious. Sautéed mushrooms were so good. Betty was kind, professional and very helpful. Dining area is a little loud and the hash browns could have been less salty and crispier.
Hasn't changed in all these years, and no reason to. It is excellent!
The place was packed when I went in there, and I can see why.. The servers were great and the food was top notch. I would definitely go back again.
The food was good, love the salad & garlic bread. We had the medium steak, mushrooms, hashbrowns,watermelon rind, turtle cheesecake. Ate until full and brought half home for another meal. We will definitely eat there again.
Steak and mushrooms to die for friendly and efficient staff annual event steak special past 4yrs!
