A night out! – The experience start off kinda shaky, but ended up being wonderful. First the staff couldn't find our reservations, however it was a Sunday so finding a table was not a prob. Second it took us about 25 mins to order out dinner..... But was it ever worth the wait!!! We started with the basil tomato flat bread.... wonderful. My wife and I each enjoyed our cup of French onion soup. She ordered the crab cakes, she enjoyed them but said she'd prolly not order them again. I ordered the rack of lamb and it was the be... read more

Top Notch Food & Friendly Service – Lindely's is one of my favorite restaurants because I know I'll always get excellent food and friendly service. One minus is the noise level - usually it's crowded and the tables are a little too close to each other. But, their wedge salad is fantastic, they don't skimp on the steamed mussels and the bananas foster, if you can squeeze in dessert, is delicious. The entres are perfectly sized - I hate paying a lot for fine dining and having a super large plate with a super small portion of f... read more

*GAG* Never again. – Though the restaurant was nearly empty on a Sunday night, we were seating next to the bus station, and the waitress refused to bring us an ashtray. Our orders were constantly incorrect, and we would have to flag down wait staff or walk up to the bar to correct the many mistakes. Our appetizer--never arrived. The food was okay, but you could get MUCH better service at any of the other comparable restaurants in town. There's absolutely nothing about this restaurant that would make it stand out, except mayb... read more

Not on New Year's Eve – I've been to Lindey's before and had mixed feelings but our group of 8 wanted to go for New Year's Eve. We had reservations at "8:00 - 10:00" window and were seated at 9:15. Valet parking is almost mandatory and ran smoothly. We were in a good mood so the hour-plus wait wasn't too bad. Our waiter seemed tired. He was guaranteed a 15% tip because of our group size (hate this policy) and it took him 20 minutes to finally take our order. Food arrived after another 40 minutes. My entree (beef tournedos) w... read more

Great Food, Even Better Service! – While in town to visit my parents, a visit to Lindeys came recommended from the neighbors. To say the least, the recommendation was worth every word. Lindey's service was exceptional, and our dinner on this evening was exceptional. I highly recommend Lindey's to anyone who desires a clean atmosphere, intelligent and attentive service and a great wine list.

Don't go to Polaris! – When I was a little girl, my parents used to take their parents (and me) out to special dinners at Lindey's in German Village. I looked forward to eating at Lindey's, with the fabulous cuisine, delicious desserts, and the trip into German Village. When it was announced that Lindey's was opening a second restaurant at Polaris, I was thrilled. However, all my good memories were destroyed when I went to eat there. While technically "seperated" from Polaris Mall, the location destroys the atmosphere entire... read more

Noisy But Good Food – We went to Lindey's on the recommendation of Citysearch and someone else for my partner's 50th birthday. Even with a reservation, we had to wait in the bar and were drowned in an overpacked noisy bar area. Once we were seated, we found the restaurant so noisy, we could barely hear each other. The noise far overpowered the fact that the service and food were excellent.

Phenomenal – Had our rehearsal dinner here and have eaten here a few times since. Elegant but not stuffy. Excellent Tournedos, duck and filets. Soups are very good and wine list is complete. Desserts are very tasty and service ranges from good to flawless, depending on the server. Charming place overall. I recommend valet parking unless you get lucky and find a rare empty spot.

A summer classic – Our group of friends makes it a point to have a long, wine and food filled dinner on the beautiful patio at Lindey's every summer. Not only is the food impeccable, the atmosphere and service make it a sublime experience. When I think of summer, I think of Lindey's.
