I have had a wonderful experience with the team at Cooper, especially Patrick Nguyen! He and the rest of the team have been helpful and understanding, from start to finish. I love my space, I feel safe in this building, I am impressed by the amenities, and overall I can't say enough nice things about the experience I've had living here. The rent is reasonable and the team is responsive and proactive. The staff is helpful and also communicative.
I've lived at Cooper for a year and a half with my family. I had to get used to community living however Cooper made it an easier transition. Patrick the property manager has alway been nice, professional, and available to address our needs. Maintenance has always been professional, courteous, and everytime I see them they are cleaning the public spaces. Everyone is fast to resolve issues out of their control like the elevators stopping or garage door. They do so with a smile.
I have lived in this building for 10 years, moving in just after new owners purchased it in 2015. At first, we saw real improvements — the building was cared for, and management made an effort. But about 4–5 years ago, the property was sold again and became Cooper Apartments. Since then, the decline has been steady and hard to ignore. The most persistent issue has been the elevators. An update to this review: The north-side elevator has been out most of the time for the last two weeks. It’s been “repaired” for a few hours at a time, only to break again. This cycle has been happening nearly every month for about six months. Instead of addressing the root cause, management seems to rely on temporary fixes, even if the elevator fails again within hours.
