In 2000 Dr. Lindahl suggested crowning my front teeth to aesthetically correct an overbite. Being young and stupid, I said, sure! Teeth looked great for 2 years then one day I woke up with a huge abscess on my gum in front of the teeth. Due to "trauma" one of the teeth had gotten infected and lost a great amount of bone. The other tooth got resorption from the first tooth and I had to have both teeth extracted, bone grafting and due to my bite being very deep, I ended up with a 6 crown bridge to the tune of $7000.
