Paid into short term and long term disability for 20+ years... When I got injured and unable to work they jerked me around and wouldn't pay my claim despite supplying them with all the documents they needed from my doctors. Insurance is a scam... I would have been better off sticking the premium $ under my mattress. What a scam... pretty sure my now ex-employer got a kick back!
