Very no-nonsense, plain spoken mechanic, extremely honest about what work needs to be done. He'll give you the bad news that something can't or shouldn't be done, along with what work actually needs to be done regardless of the costliness. He charges by the hour and what the parts cost.... and that is it. Will not talk you into what isn't necessary, and always has his eye on the safety of the vehicle and therefore the safety of the occupants.
Have used him for 7 years. Extremely honest. Will not do the work if it does not need to be done. Highly recommended.
