We decided to come to brunch on a whim; and oh myyyyy were we happy with that decision! The beignets were divine, and paired with the red raspberry jam were just *chefs kiss* perfect! I got the eggs Benedict with pork belly, my partner got shrimp & grits. Each bite was better than the next. That shrimp & grits sauce was AMAZING. I tried several of their new menu items today and they were all great! I'd been sticking to the fried chicken during the carryout only period, because it's my husband's regular order, I love it, too, and they only had options on the menu for two- or four-person meals of it. Lily's has become my absolute favorite spot to eat. The food is fantastic. I've yet to try something I didn't like there, even things outside of my comfort zone. I also LOVE that they are dog friendly on the patio. Bring your well behaved bestfriend and have an amazing night out.
I could list out all the amazing qualities of Lilys, but who has time to read a 40page novel? just imagine the perfect restaurant, with happy, attentive caring staff, food that is fresh, intriguing and pretty much orgasmic. The best Manhattan in Dayton along with beautiful ambiance. 5+ stars. I love the menu changes and its locally curated. ❤❤ My favorite restaurant ever.
well besides the best part, the cats on flowers mural (I mean.. come on :) ), the food is seriously perfect. I enjoyed the yummy and thoughtful sauce/ dip pairings, and how perfectly crispy and grease free the tempura and breaded items are. I will most definitely be back to try more and repeat some faves :) p.s. The staff are nice and helpful as well!
