Best Asian market in the Portland area! – There are bigger Asian markets in Portland, but none as friendly and helpful as Lily Market. I can get food items anywhere, but the help and advice I get here are more valuable than saffron. When I need ingredients for an Indonesian or Vietnamese recipe, they always know which ingredients I am looking for, even if I don't know the Thai name for it. Lori B. A great place to purchase all of the items you need for Asian cuisine. They are easy to find and carry just about everything you could possibly need. They carry produce, cooking items, every kind of sauce/herb/spice, and also have prepared foods in their deli if you're just looking for some good food.

Great Selection, Prices and Service!! – We just returned from a month in Thailand where I learned to make a few of my favorite dishes. I first tried the upscale Health Food stores to try and locate herbs, spices, and produce I had been using in Asia. They did not have anything I needed or too expensive! clean and fresh An excellent place to buy Oriental food to cook for to buy something already cooked. We ate a meal that included rice with meat and veggies in a bowl that was so good. All the food here looks good.

I <3 LILY MAKET!! – It's has been family owned and operated for over 20 years and you can tell the majority of the customers are long time regulars. It has a warm friendly family feel and has basically everything you need to create an authentic Asian meal. Greatest Asian Market – I moved away from Portland years ago to LA and down in LA we have huge Asian markets filled with junk. plus most of the employee that does not know anything but Spanish. Every time I go to Portland I have to stop by Lily Market. At Lily Market the store is set up for easy axis to all you need for a south east Asian meal. In the family. – My mother, a Bangkok native, took me here when I was younger and I remember being astonished that they had Prickly Heat!! How Thai is this store? Increadibly. My whole family shops here, even though they live in Vancouver, WA they make the trip because it's just that good. I can't believe they only have 2 reviews, we've got to get you folks out there!
