Was visiting the area after some hiking and this little place ended up being the perfect meal. I got the Big Kahuna which was plenty of food and perfect for trying the different meats. The Mac is some of the best Mac salad I’ve ever had and I’m so glad it came with two scoops. The place was a little small so it might not seat large groups but perfect place for a couple of friends to grab food. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Gorge… we used to drive to The Dalles and now we have one in Hood River, which I’m psyched about. Always quality food all the way around.
Very good food, all the meat was super tender and flavorful. Really compliments the Mac salad and rice. Pineapple wasn’t quite ripe yet, but still edible. Only gripe would be the amount of flies both inside and out. They weren’t overly disruptive, but not pleasant to have while eating. Overall, a great experience. Would go again.
