I had to see 3 urologists in Charlotte before I finally found Dr. Velet. The 2nd urologist I saw wasn't too bad, but the 1st & 3rd ones were awful. She's been extremely helpful, much more than the previous 3 specialists, & in my case told me I didn't require surgery. The 3rd one told me I needed surgery right away, with a 90% success rate, & she told me that surgery was absolutely a last resort. Dr. Velet gave me a new diet plan & new medications. Dr. Velet is a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend her. She was very thorough and cares about her patients. She is smart, kind, caring and is the epitome of what a good doctor should be. Her personality is fun and makes you smile during a scary time. My surgery was great. The staff is also amazing and super friendly and supportive. I love them all for making my first surgery easy, comforting and getting the results I needed. I am so grateful for her and being blessed with a really good doctor.
It has been a long time since we have experienced the kind of visit we had with Dr. Velet! She was very knowledgeable, kind, professional, caring, and took the time necessary to hear and understand the issues completely!
