My designer hired this company for me, to do the hardscape and landscape of both my front yard and backyard. I had spent over $100,000 with him and the bill was still going up, when he asked me which wood I wanted for the pergola. He gave me the choice of Redwood or Douglas Fir. I chose the Douglas Fir because it was less expensive and Eric did not give me any reason, except it might need more upkeep (meaning need to be painted once a year).
