A unique salon for your child! Lil Klippers is located inside the Wallingford Center, a turn-of-the-century elemetary school converted to a mall. The prices are very reasonable. The "chairs" are fanciful rockets, planes and animals. The hairdressers are professional and patient. A diverse selection of toys provide distraction for the wee ones!

Best Kid's Salon in Seattle Have been going to Lil Klippers since our son's first haircut. They made the experience memorable with a ribbon-tied lock of hair given to us in a cute little memento card. He's nopw four and still looks forward to haircuts every time...never any tears! They have many different bins of little toys (distractions) for every interest (e.g. cars, dinos, dolls, etc.) Stylists are patient and fast (yet careful) and are very skillful in both the technicalities of the cuts and in relating to the little on... read more

salon for the kids My sister and her family recently came over to visit and we took my nephew to Lil' Klippers for a hair cut. The stylist did a remarkable job. She was kind and patient with him. The chairs are very cute and kid friendly - rockets and animals make getting a hair cut lots of fun. Very reasonable prices.

First Cut Just took my daughter for her first cut, age 3 1/2, and it was a fantastic experience. Wendi was her stylist and explained what would happen, washed her hair on the "princess bed" and gently took her through what might have been a difficult, new situation with ease. It was well worth the price and my daughter is already asking when she can get her next cut.

Cute place but very disappointed. I would not recommend this place for a baby. Our baby has a lot of hair (most don't), so he had to get a cut at six months. The place was very cute and he ended up with a good haircut. However, since he wasn't old enough to sit up in one of the cute wooden train or airplane seats, we sat on the teenage side of the salon (The Edge) where it wasn't cute and loud music was playing. Next, the stylist sprayed his hair with tonic spray (instead of just water) and it had such a strong smell that he... read more
